
The contestants for the 2021 Gulder Ultimate Search Season 12 have finally been unveiled.
This year’s edition has a fresh taskmaster but not someone fresh to the game. He won the 2010 Gulder ultimate search, popular actor Kunle Remi.
The contestants are going to rumble and battle for the grand price of 50 million Naira.
After intense regional screening across Lagos, Enugu, and Abuja, show organizers have noted that 20 candidates have been shortlisted for
GUS 12 – ‘The Age of Craftsmanship.’
It will be a struggle for the contestants against both themselves and nature for the quest to find the hidden treasure that will reward the last man standing with fortune and fame.
Here are the Gulder Ultimate Search Contestants - The Age of Craftsmanship

Jennifer Okorie
Jennifer Okorie, better known as Queen Bee, is a 22-year-old philosophy student at Delta State University, and she wants to be the first female winner in the history of the reality show.
In its 11 seasons run, no lady has won, but Jennifer “Queen Bee” strongly believes that she has what it takes, both mentally and physically.

Iniabasi Umoren
Iniabasi “Saint Bond” is a singer and music producer. He won the ‘Kill Ma Beat” competition in 2018, and he claims to have production credits on DJ Cuppy’s album.
In addition to being a black belt Shotokan karate holder who, in his own words, will be “the life of any party” during the show, he plans to give back to charity and promote his career as well if he wins the ₦50 million prize.

Tobechukwu Okoye
Tobechukwu Okoye is a 26-year-old student, technician, and car tracker installer.
According to him, winning the GUS Season 12 will give him the opportunity to change his career and family’s current state.

Solomon Yankari
Solomon Yankari is a 26-year-old personal trainer, fitness instructor, and owner of a fitness centre located in Bauchi state.
He loves exploring, reason why he organizes boot camps and hikes for fitness enthusiasts. His dream is to build a fitness and music community and own one of Africa’s biggest fitness brands if he wins the grand prize.

Chidimma Okeibe
A thirst for adventure and the comfort of a better life is the driving force for Chidimma Okeibe, a 29-year-old project assistant.
Chidinma believes that the leadership qualities she acquired while participating in student politics at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, will help her emerge as the winner.

Emmanuel Nnebe
Meet Emmanuel, a 30-year-old actor and model who was the 2020 Face of Sapphire.
He aspires to be a lawyer someday, but for now, he’s after the grand price and the adventure to come while on the show. If he wins the GUS season 12, he plans to establish a law firm and a fashion school.

Damilola Odedina
Standing 6ft tall is Damilola Opeoluwa Odedina, a 25-year-old video editor and cinematographer.
A Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUTA) graduate, he plans to challenge and push himself to the limits on the show. If he wins, he will invest in the sports sector of the country.

Adedamola Johnson
Adedamola Johson is an entrepreneur, digital marketer, filmmaker, and alumni of the University of Lagos. He plans to leverage the exposure from the show.
He aims to spend the prize money boosting his filmmaking career.

Samuel Ishmael
A lover of mountain climbing, meet Samuel Ishmael, a 35-year-old IT expert involved with a multinational company in Nigeria. After five failed attempts in the past to be on the show, he has finally made it.
Samuel hopes to become a brand ambassador for Gulder, and his mantra is, “never give up on things you find achievable.”

Omokhafe Racheal Bello
Omokhafe Racheal Bello is a 34-year-old graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, where she studied microbiology. She is a realtor, entrepreneur and owns a soap brand.
If she emerges the winner, her fortune would be directed towards establishing a cosmetic business and a poultry farm.

Godswill Oboh
This 25-year-old man is not your average businessman. Also known as “Oreva,” he’s an MC and entrepreneur, running his own event lighting company that he founded in 2019!
The Electrical Electronics graduate also plans to set up a fitness centre and standardize this business if he can win GUS ₦50 million prize!

Gerald Odeka
Gerald Odeka is a 35-year old athlete who has won gold, silver, and bronze at the National Sports Festival. He was also part of Team Nigeria that took home 3rd place in the World Athletics Championship’s 2013 edition!
If “Speedstar” wins this season, he plans on running his sporting bar with aspirations for returning to school and setting up a business for his wife.

Esitima Edem
This 24-year old hostess is determined to make history by becoming the first female winner of
Gulder Ultimate Search.
She’s a graduate of Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt.

Olayinka Omoya
Meet Olayinka Omoya, the 26-year old music artiste, writer, and content creator with a hope to be an A-list musician and redefine pop music for years to come. He is a graduate of Bowen University.
His money will go into his music career if he emerges as the Ultimate Man.

Emiola Tosin
Emiola Michael Tosin, 33-year old civil servant and married father of one daughter, is vying for GUS’s ₦50 million prize money by making a 5th attempt at being part of this show.
The Ahmadu Bello University graduate has always dreamt about starting up his own tomato paste factory, and that might come true if he wins.

Mikel Mfon Esin
This freelance writer, model, and ardent supporter of Arsenal likes adventure. He’s also a Casanova who considers himself uniquely entertaining with his personality-filled charm!
2013 saw him in the final selection stage for
GUS, but he wasn’t selected as one of its contestants, so he hopes to make the most out of it this time.
