EARLY LIFE On December 11, 1979, Colleen Hoover was born in Sulphur Springs, a city in Hopkins County, Texas, United States. She was born to Eddie Fennell and his wife, Vannoy Fite. Hoover grew up in an unincorporated community in Hopkins County, known as Saltillo. Hoover attended the Saltillo High School, where she graduated in 1998. Country Music Star Don Williams Dies at 78 Country music star, Don Williams, nicknamed “Gentle Giant” has passed at the age of 78. According to Billboard, the singer’s PR team confirmed the news, saying he died “after a short illness.” Williams was behind hit songs “Tulsa Time” and “It Must Be Love,” which topped the charts after they were released. His tribute album “Gentle Giants: The Songs of Don Williams“ was issued in May, a day after he clocked 78. The album featured performances of his songs by current country heavyweights, including Garth Brooks and Lady Antebellum. May his soul Rest In Peace!

Sam Shepard, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and Oscar-nominated actor, dies at 73 A giant in the arts, Sam Shepard, the Oscar-nominated actor, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, author, screenwriter and director, died Thursday at his home in Kentucky of complications from ALS (or Lou Gehrig’s disease). He was 73. Chris Boneau, a spokesman for Shepard’s family, confirmed Shepard’s death to The Times in a statement. “The family requests privacy at this difficult time,” he said. Shepard received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1979 for his play “Buried Child,” which centers around a family haunted by the past as it comes together in its aging Illinois farmhouse, reflecting shades of Shepard’s own childhood in the state with his alcoholic father. Four years later, Shepard was acknowledged by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences when he was nominated for best supporting actor for his portrayal of Chuck Yeager in “The Right Stuff.” Survivors include his children,

The long rivalry between award winning pop stars, Wizkid and Davido seem to have landed them in trouble as the duo may soon be the latest celebrities in police net. Davido and Wizkid might be invited for questioning over their alleged involvement in drugs and cult-related crimes, police sources said. On the 23rd of June 2017, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido had posted a photo, announcing a new haircut, in honour of a cult group, Neo Black Movement known as Black Axe. The post which generated a high number of comments was condemned by some of his fans. NBA star, Stephen Curry of Golden State Warriors, has agreed to a five-year extension deal, worth around $201 million, the richest contract in the league history.
